We hope that this helps in making the decision of buying a 2014 F-150 now or waiting for the 2015 F-150 to drop later this year. If you decide to buy now, there are deals out there. If you decide you want to wait, work with your local dealership to get your truck order in as soon as production begins. We do not expect any incentives at launch though, so if you want a 2015 at a discount, you’ll be waiting awhile.

Why else would you wait? First year jitters. If you buy a 2015 with any of the carryover engines you’re less likely to have issues, but sometimes new vehicles have recalls and glitches that need fixed. That doesn’t mean that it will happen, but waiting a few months to see if there are any major issues might be a wise course of action.
