For many fans of the Ford brand, one of their favorite vehicles is the F-150 SVT Raptor. This Baja-capable truck, despite being utterly silly on paper, has been a sales success for the brand, and we absolutely loved it when we had a change to drive it last year. With an over-the-top design, amazing off-road performance and on-road comfort, and the ability to survive the zombie apocalypse, the SVT Raptor is a dream truck. Based on a tweet from our friend at Ford, Mike Levine, there may be a new Raptor in the works.

Mr. Levine had this to say about the Raptor;

That sounds good to us! Although the F-150 SVT Raptor is a small-volume truck, the company typically has less than a 15 day dealership supply on-hand, and has had to increase production to keep up with demand. It would be silly for them to not make the new truck in Raptor trim. We also wouldn’t be surprised to see it near launch of the regular truck, and not have to wait until the 2016 model year. We believe demand is too strong for Ford to wait.
