Hyundai Genesis

From our time behind the wheel, the Kia K900 has the smoother ride. The suspension is geared towards absolute comfort, whereas the Hyundai Genesis has a bit of sport in its DNA. But if we are going to buy one of the two luxury cars, we’d buy the Hyundai Genesis 5.0.

Both cars are rear wheel drive. Both cars have the same engine, horsepower and fuel economy. Both have very similar technology. Both will do very well in a crash. All things are seemingly equal between the two cars, except for the price.

The Hyundai Genesis 5.0 rings up at $55,700 and the Kia K900 VIP is $66,400. There’s a $10,700 price difference that we have a difficult time justifying. Kia tries to position the K900 as the last word in luxury, but the Hyundai Genesis provides the same experience for a lot less money. That’s why we would spend our money on the 2015 Hyundai Genesis.
