2015 Challenger SRT Hellcat

The Hellcat has a special intake near the headlights.

For an engine that makes over 600 hp and needs to be reliable in all situations, cooling takes top priority. On the Hellcat, the right fog light is missing. Instead of the light, an open hole channels cold air directly into the air intake under the hood.

We asked the folks at SRT about the fog light on the right side. They demonstrated the lighting options and in no switch position does the left side foglamp light up.

The additional grille pieces are also removable for track use to help keep everything cool. The goal with the Hellcat, according to Kuniskis, was to make sure the car was reliable in all scenarios. This includes waiting in line to run the dragstrip and not suffering from power sapping heat soak.
