During the 2014 Auto Show in Detroit we had the opportunity to sit in the driver’s seat of the 2014 Cadillac CTS V and while we couldn’t take this car out on the track or around the convention center, we are able to show you what it looks like to sit inside the revamped Cadillac CTS V through Google Glass.

Here’s an inside look at what the 2014 Cadillac CTS V is like when you first sit inside it, and the features that stand out.

To quickly summarize, the CTS V delivers a premium, luxury feel that isn’t stodgy with a nice bland of Carbon Fiber, leather and other materials. The large touch screen and controls below it both offer haptic feedback with a small vibration so you know that a tap was recognized and in general this is an impressive car to sit in.

Under the hood is a 556 HP V8 engine capable of pushing the car from 0-60MPH in 3.9 seconds. An Old School Caddy this is not. This is a new school with less chrome and a more aggressive body styling that matches the boosted performance. Users can configure the 2014 Cadillac CTS V with RECARO heated and ventilated seats, Brembo brakes and a StabiliTrak electronic stability control system helps keep the driver in control.
